WELCOME

Experience the rhythm and soul of live jazz with Plymouth Jazz Club,

where we host local, national, and international bands.

Plymouth Jazz Club has been dedicated to bringing the

best of jazz music to the community since 1984.

With a passion for live performance and a love

of dancing  we create an unforgettable

experience for all who walk through our doors.

Venue

Club gigs are usually held at

The Royal British Legion Club, Tailyour Road, Crownhill,

PL6 5DH.

The club has a fine dance hall with a good stage, a good bar and seating area with tables,

just right for meeting friends to enjoy the jazz and dancing the night away. 

Gigs start at 7.30 pm

Entrance, £15 with members £12 and Student £7.

Membership

Club membership is available for singles at £10 or couples at £15 per year.

This gives each member a reduction of £3.00 per visit and details of all

forthcoming gigs and events.

Our 2026 Program

July 19th  -  CANCELLATION

Due to the hall being required for a screening of the

Football World Cup we will not be able to proceed with

our scheduled gig, "Dr's Prescription," on July 19th.

Our next gig will be on August 16th,

when we have "Trudgeon's Trad Jazz Troubadours",

one of the best Trad Jazz bands in the country.

"Dr's Prescription" will be rescheduled for next year.
